2. Summary for PetDay Care Planner (V1.0)

In Version 1.0, PetDay Care Planner is designed as a local, on-device personal care planner:

• No account registration or sign-in is required.
• No advertising and no in-app purchases.
• Pet profiles, care tasks, task occurrences, care logs, and settings are stored locally on your device (JSON files such as pets.json, care_tasks.json, task_occurrences.json, and care_logs.json).
• The App does not declare the INTERNET permission and does not upload your pet or care data to IOTERA SMART LLC servers.
• The App does not provide cloud sync in V1.0.
• The App does not integrate advertising SDKs or third-party analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.
• Walk tasks are time-based reminders only — no GPS or location tracking.
• Optional reminders, if enabled, are scheduled and delivered locally and respect quiet hours (22:00–07:00) when that setting is on.
• Optional pet photos may be selected through the Android Photo Picker and stored privately under an on-device avatars/ directory.

Important: PetDay Care Planner is a scheduling helper only. It does not provide veterinary advice, medical guidance, diagnoses, prescriptions, or dosage recommendations.

3. Information Stored on Your Device (App)

If you use the App, information you enter or generate may be stored locally on your device, including:

• Pet profiles: name, species, optional breed, birth date, color tag (PURPLE / PINK / TEAL / AMBER), optional weight, notes, archive status, and optional avatar image
• Care tasks: type (Feed, Walk, Groom, Clean, Train), time, repeat rules (daily / weekly / custom days), optional feed amount or duration, reminder settings
• Task occurrences: scheduled instances for a date (status such as pending, done, or skipped)
• Care logs: completed care history, optional notes, and pet name snapshots retained for history even if a pet is later deleted or archived
• App preferences: default Today view (all pets vs. last selected pet), reminder lead time, quiet hours, and similar settings

In V1.0, this content remains on your device. Deleting a pet cascades related tasks; care logs may keep a pet name snapshot for historical records. You may archive a pet to hide it from Today pills and stop new occurrences while preserving logs.

V1.0 supports up to 8 active pet profiles. The same task and date generate only one task occurrence (duplicate guard on cross-day regeneration).

4. Information We Do Not Collect Through the App (V1.0)

Through PetDay Care Planner V1.0, we do not:

• Require you to create an account or sign in
• Collect or upload your personal data or pet care content to our servers
• Sell your personal information
• Share App user content with advertisers or data brokers
• Use advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Use third-party analytics, attribution, or tracking SDKs
• Track walk routes or collect precise location / GPS data
• Offer social features, pet dating, breeding marketplaces, or public UGC communities
• Provide veterinary diagnoses, medical records storage as a clinical service, or health-advice features

5. App Permissions and Why They Are Used

Depending on your Android version and settings, the App may request or use the following:

A. Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)

• Requested when you enable task reminders.
• Used to show local, on-device reminder notifications for scheduled care tasks.
• Not used for advertising.

B. Photo Picker (optional avatars)

• If you choose to add a pet photo, the App uses the system Photo Picker.
• Selected images are stored privately on device under avatars/{petId}.jpg (or equivalent private app storage).
• Photos are not uploaded to IOTERA SMART LLC in V1.0.

C. Storage Access Framework (optional CSV export)

• If you export care logs, you choose a destination through Android’s Storage Access Framework.
• Export is user-initiated and remains under your control on the device or storage location you select.

D. Network / Internet

• V1.0 does not declare the INTERNET permission for sending App content to us.
• The App is designed to function offline for core scheduling features.

If a future version needs additional permissions, network features, accounts, ads, or analytics, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide in-app or store disclosures before the change takes effect.

6. Website and Home Services

Information you provide

When you submit a quote request, contact form, or email us, we may receive:

• Contact information (name, email address)
• Service address and details about HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, moving, or other requests
• Message content and scheduling preferences

Website quote and contact forms are delivered to our company email via FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, so we can respond to your inquiry. Do not submit sensitive payment card numbers through these forms.

• Respond to inquiries and provide quotes or estimates
• Schedule and deliver home services
• Communicate about appointments and follow-ups
• Maintain reasonable business records and comply with legal obligations

Cookies

7. How We Use Information

App (V1.0)

• Local App data is used only to provide App features on your device (pet profiles, tasks, occurrences, logs, settings, and local reminders).
• Because V1.0 does not upload App content to us, we do not use that content for marketing, profiling, or advertising.

• We use information you send us only to respond, deliver services, and manage related business communications.
• We do not sell your personal information.

8. Information Sharing

App (V1.0)

• The App does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
• Your local App content is not shared by us with third parties because it is not uploaded to us.

Website / home services

We may share information only when needed to perform a requested service (for example, with technicians assigned to a job), with FormSubmit solely to deliver website form messages to our inbox, when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IOTERA SMART LLC, our customers, or others. We do not sell personal information.

Device / OS providers

If you enable your device’s system backup or restore features, the operating system provider may back up local App data according to that provider’s rules. That backup is controlled by your device/OS settings and is not an upload initiated by IOTERA SMART LLC servers.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

App local data

• Retained on your device until you delete it.
• You can clear all local App data in Settings using “Clear all data” (or equivalent).
• You can uninstall the App; uninstalling generally removes the App’s local data from your device.
• “Skip today” marks an occurrence as skipped without writing a care log; “Mark done” records completion in the care log.

Website / email / service records

Contact messages and service records are retained only as long as needed to respond, deliver services, maintain reasonable business records, or as required by law.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, emails or quote requests you sent us) by contacting JAMES@ioterasmart.online.

Because App V1.0 does not upload your pet or care data to our servers, local App data must be cleared on your device (Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall).

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will respond to verified requests as required.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App and website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us through our website or email, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Data Security

We design V1.0 so that App content stays on your device. Please protect your device with a screen lock or other device security features. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information stored on your device or transmitted when you contact us by email or website form.

13. International Users

IOTERA SMART LLC is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, any information you send us (such as an email) may be processed in the United States.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. If a future App version changes data practices in a material way (for example, adding cloud sync, accounts, ads, analytics, or INTERNET-based features), we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide notice in the App or Google Play listing before the change takes effect.

15. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
